I have over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, including 16 years as a Registered Nurse. Throughout my nursing career, I have worked in a variety of settings, such as bedside nursing in surgical and medicine, nursing homes, northern nursing, surgical clinics, public health, community case management, disability management, and occupational health.
After working in a hospital setting for over ten years and witnessing various changes in the healthcare landscape, I realized that I was no longer able to effect change in the way I had initially envisioned when I decided to become a nurse. To address this, I took matters into my own hands and aimed to be the change I wanted to see. This year, I decided to open a clinic specializing in both medical and aesthetic procedures for all ethnicities and skin types. This initiative will provide timely access—both physically and financially—to safe, evidence-based, and culturally competent care in both medical and aesthetic fields.
